Converting Your CamperDive to a Roller System

Step-by-Step Conversion Guide

1. Remove the Standard Base: Unscrew the traditional stainless steel or titanium end-cap from the rear carbon fiber section. Our standardized threading ensures a smooth, tool-free removal.
2. Install the Roller Base: Take the CamperDive Roller Base and thread it firmly onto the tail of the spear. Ensure the high-grade pulleys are aligned correctly.
3. Rigging the Power Band: Unlike traditional bands that anchor at the tail, the roller band wraps around the pulleys. Attach one end of the band to the anchor point located further up the shaft (using our dedicated band peg).
4. Tensioning the System: Pull the band over the rollers toward the tail, then forward to the loading notch or the wishbone attachment. This "pre-tensioning" allows the band to apply force throughout the entire length of the shot.
5. Final Safety Check: Ensure the band is seated properly in the pulley grooves and that the tension is balanced for a straight, powerful release.
